Dante Ghee
Dante – originally from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and raised in Delaware County – joined Athlete Training and Health in the Fall of 2022 as an Applied Performance Coach, where he will be pursuing his master’s degree. Dante attended Delaware State University where he earned his Bachelor’s degree in exercise physiology.
Immediately after undergrad he did an internship with North Carolina A&T, where he worked with the football team, who won the 2019 MEAC Championship. He also assisted with basketball and track & field during his time there. He then had an internship working with the University of Miami football team. Unfortunately, his internship was cut short because of COVID, then he was offered a Graduate Assistantship with North Carolina Central University. Following this, Dante went back home where he was a substitute teacher for Mastery Charter for a year.
With his training and performance philosophies, he likes to include rehabilitation/corrective practices and preventative measures to ensure strength and protection in all the athletes he works with. Dante is currently enrolled at Setanta College pursuing a master’s degree in Performance Coaching. Dante also enjoys developing athletes and a higher level of athleticism. This is accomplished through injury prevention, kinesthetic awareness and increasing the athlete’s performance levels through proper training.
