Daniel Cooper oversees all strategic partnerships, long-term growth initiatives and the overall strategy for Athlete Training and Health. Since 2012, he’s served ATH in a variety of leadership roles influencing marketing, sales and operations. He managed the company’s move toward alignment with major healthcare systems as well as the company’s foray into adult fitness and the brand transition from CES Performance to Athlete Training and Health.
He began his career with the Kansas City Royals, working in corporate partnerships before taking a similar role with the Tampa Bay Rays. After three years in Major League Baseball, he spent seven years with Omnicom’s Dallas-based sports marketing agency, The Marketing Arm. There he managed AT&T’s marketing partnerships with approximately 50 teams across the NCAA, MLB, NFL, NBA and NHL for 6 years before serving as Managing Director of TMA’s digital sports marketing consultancy, SmartSport. Prior to joining CES Performance, Daniel was the Director of Business Development for Sportsdigita, a digital sports marketing agency. While at Sportsdigita he led sales and marketing efforts in the company’s first year, growing the roster of clients from zero to 18 professional sports teams spanning all four major sports leagues.
Daniel works out of the ATH office in Plano, TX, but spends much of his time at ATH facilities and in meetings with healthcare partners throughout Texas.
