Anthony Connally

Anthony Connally is a Senior Performance Coach for Athlete Training and Health in Allen, Texas overseeing the Forever ATHlete programming that improves movement, strength and cardiometabolic health for the Forever ATHlete. Anthony is a graduate of North Carolina Central University (NCCU) where he was a 4-year letterman in football, ending his career as the 3rd all-time leading tackler in the school’s history. He then went on to play 2 years with the Carolina Cobras.

Prior to ATH-Allen, Anthony served as Director at Velocity Sports Performance in Peachtree City, Georgia where he led the youth, collegiate, and professional athlete training programs, as well as adult fitness. After several years at Velocity, he transitioned to Director of Strength and Conditioning at Life University in Marietta, Georgia. At Life University, Anthony designed year-round, science-based strength and conditioning programs for over 300 student athletes across 12 sports.

Anthony has trained athletes in the NFL, NBA, WNBA, as well as Olympic Athletes. He has also consulted with NBA and NFL Teams. Anthony’s certifications include Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS), Performance Enhancement Specialist (PES), PICP Level 2, BioSignature Modulation Level 1, and Speed and Explosion Specialist (NASE). He holds a Bachelor’s in Physical Education from NCCU and a Master’s in Exercise Science and Health Promotion from California University of Pennsylvania. Anthony lives in Frisco, Texas with his wife, Karen.
