Gavin Barrilleaux
Gavin oversees all sports performance and fitness strands for Athlete Training and Health. He seeks to continue to grow ATH-Allen and make it a staple for performance across all of DFW. Gavin has worked in all realms of performance and health including collegiate strength & conditioning, private sector sports performance, physical therapy and corporate wellness. He has worked with the high risk population, general population, youth athletes, multiple soccer club and academy teams, collegiate athletes, professional athletes and special ops military population.
Prior to working with ATH, Gavin worked for EXOS for 7 years starting as an intern in Phoenix, AZ at their headquarters to working in 3 different states serving multiple roles such as Performance Specialist, Site Lead, and General Manager. Along with his EXOS experience, Gavin has worked with McNeese State University women’s soccer team, Louisiana State University men’s football team, University of Texas-Dallas women’s soccer team, Portland Timbers boy’s academy soccer team and FC Dallas boy’s academy soccer team. Gavin also spent time working at Hockaday all-girls private school in Dallas,TX serving as the strength and conditioning coach for all sports. Prior to EXOS, Gavin started his career at 19 years old in southern Louisiana while pursuing his degrees working at Performance Evolution where he worked with MMA athletes, led group fitness classes and performed 1:1 personal training and team training.
While gathering his experience the past 13 years, Gavin achieved his bachelors and masters degrees at McNeese State University with a focus in health and human performance and exercise physiology. Along his education journey, he obtained several certifications such as his Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist for the NSCA, Sports Performance Specialist with USAW, Functional Movement Screening certification with FMS, Performance Specialist and Fitness Specialist with EXOS, along with several other fitness and personal training certifications to help the different populations he needed to service.
