Crista Ramos
Crista Ramos has been a Senior Performance Coach at Athlete Training and Health since September 2023. With 8 years of experience, she’s a Houston native dedicated to enhancing the performance of student-athletes at various levels, from high school to the pros.
Previously, Ramos served as the Assistant Director of Performance for The Village School Vikings, collaborating with Coach Scott Kellar, CSCS, to strengthen 14 Viking sports programs. She also worked at NCAA Division II Concordia University Irvine, California, focusing on strength and conditioning for multiple teams.
Her earlier role was Director of Performance and Nutrition at Lutheran High North in Houston, overseeing 16 athletic programs and achieving remarkable success. She was recognized as one of the top ten personal trainers in Texas by Yahoo! Finance in 2021. Additionally, Ramos interned with the NCAA Division I PVAMU Panthers Football Team during their 2021 Summer Off-Season Training Program.
Ramos is a 2015 Texas State University graduate with a bachelor’s degree in Exercise and Sports Science and earned her master’s in Coaching and Exercise Science from Concordia University Irvine in 2023. She is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) and holds certifications in Olympic Weightlifting (USAW1), Functional Movement Systems (FMS1), Functional Range and Conditioning (FRCms), and Performance Coaching (XPS) through EXOS.
