Jeff Schuh (pronounced “Shoe’) joins Athlete Training and Health after serving as the Assistant Director of Sports Performance at the University of Houston. In his time at UH, Jeff worked with Track & Field, Soccer, Football, Tennis, Volleyball, Tennis, and Basketball.
Schuh received his Master’s degree in Kinesiology from Texas A&M-Corpus Christi in 2012, where he was the Graduate Assistant Strength & Conditioning Coach. He supervised the training programs for Islander Baseball and Women’s Golf and assisted with the school’s Men’s and Women’s Basketball, Softball, Men’s and Women’s Tennis, Volleyball and Track & Field programs.
A native of Issaquah, Washington., Schuh earned his Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology from Washington State in May 2010. As a Strength and Conditioning Student Coach, he designed and implemented the training program for Men’s Golf and assisted with Baseball, Volleyball, Women’s Soccer and Men’s and Women’s Basketball.
In addition to his hands on experience, Jeff is also a Certified Strength and Conditioning Coach by the Collegiate Strength and Conditioning Coaches Association, a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist by the National Strength and Conditioning Association and a Sports Performance Coach by the United States of America Weightlifting.
